Trees in winter

A gallery of Monochrome English landscapes featuring trees in winter. This is a favourite subject matter of mine. I particularly like the starkness of the tree forms against a bright winter light. These images are from various places around northern England, including County durham and North Yorkshire.

A genuinley evocative and thought provoking gallery. Most of the composition are simple (in the very best sense of the word) and are an example to many on how to lead a viewer into a shot. Congratulations on not only finding these wonderful landscapes but then executing this gallery. One thing left to say... voted!
