After a long drive to Colombo, flight to Male and boat trip to Meeru we finally arrive. Despite spending most of the morning asleep we did spend "some" time outside relaxing and enjoying our first evening on the island. It feels so surreal going from the hustle bustle of Sri Lanka to the silence and calmness of the maldives... We spent hours that evening out on our balcony watching the fish feeding, the sun setting the sharks and rays swimming through... and just watching the stars as the water splashed around the supports echoing up into the room...
