These pictures are amazing. I can't recall ever seeing photos of an Imola Red E46 M3 looking this good. Boy am I envious! I have a red E30 325iS right now that I love. I'm hopefull one day for a new M3!

sweet M3, I really like the imola red. I just recently got a jet black M3, but I was very close to getting the red for awhile. I noticed that you have the Valentine 1 installed with the remote concealed display. I am interested in getting a Valentine 1 for my 3. I was wondering if you had a picture of where you installed the remote display and if you could tell me how it was done. Thanks alot.

Oh, Thats right... LA is a big place! M3 able to go over 300KM bah ? I saw the other guy had his 330ci over 260Km.. M3 can do much better!! :)

Alex, The UGDO is installed in the overhead console right beside the moonroof switch and microphone, you can partially see it on picture "m3v1.jpg" on page 3. Mike, Wheel pin is used when you are changing your wheel (it acts as a guide). It makes it a lot easier to align the holes for the wheel lugs. Jeff

Alex, Yes, UGDO stands for universal garage door opener. The picture of the 328i was from when I picked it up from the dealer a few years ago, my sister bought the car from me. Jeff

Alex, M pedals didn't fit, I bought them before I got the car and it was already too late when I noticed that the brake pedal was for an automatic car (I thought SMG cars uses the same pedals from auto/steptronic cars but actually it has the same brake pedal from a manual car, so I ended up installing it on my old 328i. Alex, On purchases of a new car, dealer gives out a temporary tag (small piece of paper) as a temporary proof registration which you are supposed to stick on the lower right hand of the windshield until you get your permanent plates in the mail, I didn't like it there so I just put it in the glove compartment :) The switches below the SMG shift knob is for setting the different SMG mode (A1-A5, S1-S6), from regular driving and super spirited driving (gear shifts at .08 seconds!). So, it is legal to drive without number plate in CA (cause you are new vehicle) ? Btw, What is the little button under SMG II gear knob for ? looks like volume adjustment ? Alex.

Alex, In California, it usually takes from 2-3 months before you get your license plates, unlike some other state that you get it right away when you drive off the dealers lot (I think)... also I ordered personalized plates but since my car is not on the California Department of Motor Vehicle computer yet (took delivery a month ago), they can't release it yet! :( Jeff
