Most impressive photos! Did you photograph any of the ceiling paintings? I was there in 2007 and noticed that the highest arches above the doors in the center of the nave - South side, closest to the Archbishop's Palace - have traces of colorful flowers, vines, and patterns. It's very dark up there, and very hard to see from the ground level. It would be great to see photos of these drawings up close! THANKS!

Hi,

I was born and raised in Trondheim and now live in San Antonio, Texas. I brought my american husband home 2 years ago and he fell in love with our cathedral, but was very sad he was not allowed to take pictures inside. These are great pics!

Hi, i just wanted to thank you for taking all these beautiful pictures of Nidarosdomen. I showed them to my friends over here in the US, and they liked what they saw:) I was born and raised in Norway(Trondheim to be more exact:p), and i got babtised in Nidarosdomen and everything:p But i've moved away a long time ago and can't really just travel over there to snap pics of my hometown, so... Thanks^^, These were great pics and my friends got really impressed over how good the place actually looks:)

Keep snapping those pics and i'll keep looking in now and then:)
