ha ha ha ha ha ha ha... The difference between you and me is that I had my dogs tied up to a bench just outside this garden so that I could get some photos of the butterflies rather than just of shaking flowers from which the butterflies beat a hasty retreat! I had the perfect photo lined up and was in the process of focusing and composing when my beast poked her nose in and the swallowtail headed for the hills. For some reason your swallowtails don't appear to be as skittish. I love this shot -- that nose just cracks me up.

I think it was a good choice not to crop as it adds something. The butterfly is pretty and I like the diagonal break of red and green, and the spotted white adds another good color contrast. Above all it makes me wonder what happened next..
