Fascinating that even within rock, they adhere to sharp rectangles. The strata tell a beautiful geological story. Thank you for the view. I first heard about Petra and saw photos, when I was 10 years old, but no-one else has shown interiors. It was as if the story only went on outside. V.
After having seen the India Jones movie I was so looking forward to seeing the treasury, and I remember being so disappointed when I found there was absolutely nothing there inside... Petra is still an amazing, spectacular destination though.
