Egyptian Goose Having a Bath

PGA National Golf Course, Palm Beach Gardens

The origin of the Egyptian Goose is North Africa, particularly around the Nile delta and Egypt.
They have been domesticated for hundreds of years in Africa and were imported into the British Isles in the 1700s.
They have been more recently introduced into the Florida landscape and seem to especially enjoy living on golf courses!

We've had a couple show up recently. I'm sure they'll be everywhere, like the Muscovy ducks. I love this view from above! V
