Welcome to my photo galleries. I live and do most of my photography work in the Northern Virginia area. We've been given some amazing things in nature - we just have to take the time to look for them! I'm passionate about first finding these incredible things (ranging from the smallest detail on a tiny flower to a breathtaking natural landscape - or anything in between!), and then capturing them to share with others. While I genuinely enjoy seeing these natural wonders in person (and yes, while taking the photos I do make sure to take the time and enjoy the scene for myself!), I find it's also quite rewarding to be able to share them with others through my photography.
My photography gear consists exclusively of Canon equipment (ranging from two DSLR bodies to numerous professional lenses). One of my cameras has been converted to only "see" Infrared (IR) light - visible light is now blocked from reaching the sensor. I love the challenges of photographing in IR where even the most common scenes take on often magical qualities.
