This was a 6 day, 5 night, photo tour through www.naturalexposures.com, a great company to deal with! It "starts" in Bozeman, Montana, but really begins the next morning on the way from Bozeman to West Yellowstone. We saw 3 moose, and 4 Big Horn Sheep rams, on the way. Unfortunately, none were anywhere near a turnout, so no photos of them. However, the next 4 days in the park more than made up for that! We traveled into the park each day in a snow coach with lots of stops for wildlife and scenery. As you can see in the photos below, we had a great time!
Quick note on cameras and lenses. My wife shot with a D300 (images start with JT3) and an 18-200 the whole time, except for a few where Dan Cox or Dale let her use their 600 mm with or without a TC-1.4. I used a D7000 (images start with JT7) with a 16-85, 70-200 VRII, and a rented 300 F2.8 VR, plus on the last two, I sometimes used a TC-1.4 or a TC-1.7, plus a few shots on Dan and Dale's 600mm.
Stunning gallery! I visited once in the summer and this makes me want to go back! Great shots with the D7000.

John these pictures are awesome. Makes braving the cold well worth it! You do inspire me to get my camera out more in the winter, which in Regina is challenging. Already looking forward to your next trip. Liz Crawford
