The are various shots we took of Mt. St. Helens from shortly after its first minor release of steam until just before it blew up on May 18, 1980. In fact, we had driven totally around Mt. St. Helens on May 17, 1980, on roads just outside the "Red Zone", so supposedly safe. However, the next day, some of those roads disappeared!
