Pileated Woodpecker on the "Grizzly Giant" Giant Sequoia

Note: I sometimes hear these large woodpeckers near home in Oregon, but have never been close enough to photograph them. Then here in the Mariposa Grove one lands and proceeds to hammer away at the Grizzly Giant! It is going for insects in the thick bark.
