Vernadsky Station at Marina Point on Galindez Island in the Argentine Islands, Antarctica.

This is where scientists first observed depletion in the ozone layer, known as the ozone hole. The Ukrainian scientists at Vernadsky are continuing this ozone research in addition to studies focusing on geomagnetism, meteorology and glaciology.
