This was a quick trip to Hawaii to see the lava flowing into the sea! Emptied my mileage plan so we could get there as you never know how long the flow will last. This flow just started flowing into the sea in late July, 2016. We stayed at the Volcano Inn (great place and price) for 4 nights and saw the lava by helicopter, boat (best - lavaoceantours.com), and I took a bike 4 miles on a gravel road to get up close to the flowing lava.
