Grand Canyon, Feb 2004

We heard it was going to get snow the weekend of Feb 28-29, so I called and was able to get a room in one of the lodges for the night of the 28th. The canyon is at its best with snow and few crowds! Photos are mostly with my Nikon 5700, and a few with my wife's Canon S45. This is the same trip as the companion Gallery on Coyotes at the Grand Canyon!

I agree... the canyon with a fresh dusting of snow is "primo"! I'm headed there in a couple of weeks hoping to get a few shots nearing the quality of what you've posted here.
