We stopped at Cedar Breaks National Monument on our way from St. George to Bryce Canyon National Park. We entered from the South, so first came to the Point Supreme viewpoint. From there, I hiked out to Spectra Point. It was only a mile out and back, but at 10,500 feet, even with only a few hundred feet of elevation gain, I was also having to make trail through about 2 foot of snow for some parts of it and was very tired by the time I got back. However, it was well worth it both for the view at the end and along the way, and for the Bristlecone Pine grove near the point. We then also stopped at Chessmen Ridge and North View viewpoints. Afterwards, because everything, including any restrooms in the park were totally closed for winter, we drove a few miles north of the park to find restrooms. W also found a great Mexican restaurant, Mi Pueblo, for lunch. The food was great!
