This was a different sort of trip for us. Instead of just us, or us with one other couple, there we 10 people on this trip, with 4 cars! Definitely caused some logistics concerns, but I think everyone got along great, and by each family making a meal, and a men’s and women’s night for a meal, plus a couple of nights out, we had lots of really good food. The primary parks we visited were Banff, Jasper, Kootenay, and Yoho National Parks, plus a number of Provincial Parks in the area. Along with these, most of the group spent a day at the Calgary Rodeo and Stampede, while Janet & I went to Elk Island National Park hoping to see Wood Bison. Some areas we went to on more than one occasion, as we did get a lot of rain while we were there, but still had a great trip in spite of the rain!
