This is an area in the De-Na-Zin Wilderness Area, about 35 miles south of Farmington, New Mexico. It is famous for very interesting hoodoos, including some that look like flying saucers. Unfortunately, the most interesting formations are about 2 miles into the wilderness and we had limited time, so went in about ¾ of a mile and explored what we found there.
