Thanks. For potraits alone, the AF 85mm f/1.4 is beter. Hopefully you don't have a D40/D60 which does not have built-in focusing motor in the body.

awesome photo. sharpness and color plus the background blur. all just right.
im contemplating getting this lens (85/1.4) or the 80-200/2.8. I can only get one, which would you recommend (for portraits)? ty
