In Front of Ramona's Bungalow

Spanish Camp, Anadale, Staten Island, NY

Since I was very little, I remember Carmen's as being Raymond's aunt Carmen's restaurants. Carmen was Ramona's sister (Raymond's Grandmother-Carman was really his great aunt) and Ramona had the gray bungalow in the middle of Camp. There is a picture of Ramona in the Staten Island museum standing in front of her bungalow which I will attach. Our parents knew Carmen as well as Ramona.

I wasn't able to blow up the photo more than this so I don't have too clear an image of the person on the far right. I do recognize the woman in front (don't remember her name) as Ronnie, Josie & Michael's grandmother (can't remember his two younger sister's names either) and they lived across the field also. White bungalow with willow trees in front.

Yes I think that is Mrs. Castro. Michael(Nahrebecki) sisters are Roseann and Dale.
Dale is one of my best friends to this day.

Let's see if I can type this through the tears in my eyes. First of all, thank you so very much to post this picture. That was my bungalow! (Ramona and Raymond, my grand parents). I could recognize the woman to the left front any where since it is my great grandmother "Chicken Grandma". She is Ramona and my Aunt Carmen's mother. Carmen was the owner of the restautant (Ramona's sister). You had things a little mixed up. My grandfather was only related through marriage. You have no idea how wonderfful it is to see this picture. Thank you once again. Debbie Gibbons Librescu (granddaughter to Raymond and Ramona).
