I have the large flash and it works quite well. I bought it for $110 used, a bargain compared to Canon flashes. However, the lack of HSS is a real problem outdoors when I want to use fill. I also find that the response, while adequate, is sluggish compared to my Canon 5D MKIII (no surprise). So for commercial work, I still use Canon equipment.

How are the flashes working out with your Fuji? I too wish Fuji had HSS on ANY flash. I photograph weddings and portraits and the HSS has been a wonderful tool. I am waiting for the XE-2 to be my digital rangefinder!

Jim:

Would you be available to do a one-hour cocktail party tomorrow (Saturday, August 15) from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. I need a second shooter to cover the event while I'm doing portraits.

If yes, perhaps you would call JIM GOODRIDGE or JPG PHOTO EVENTS at 703-281-5441 at 9:30 AM this morning.
He'll try and put us all together on a conference call.

You would shoot for one hour and then download your RAW files and be done. Nothing more would be needed. Give you an opportunity to show us your work and it might lead to future work.

thanks.

Bill Folsom (www.wfolsom.com)

PS: Because of the time constraints i'll try and email you through Model Mayhem

Jim, Thank you for visiting my gallery. You asked where the Trinity Church was located. It is in Seneca Falls, NY. One of the most photographed churches in New York. I have since put history on that gallery so come take a look. Thank you,
