15 fantastic days. Mostly camping with a mule-supported trek around Mt. Toubkal, 13,666 feet. The highest in North Africa. Along with our 5 mules, we had 5 muleteers, one cook, and one guide. His name was Hassan and he was a Berber from the High Atlas mountain region where most of our journey took place. The tour was booked through a British company called Exodus travel. There were 10 of us in all. Three Americans including me and my wife, Jeannette. One Scot and six Brits. Our group bonded well. Morocco and the High Atlas mountains are a beautiful place. I feel lucky to have experienced it through camping and trekking. Click on the photo to see more photos within each gallery set up by day.
