Joe,
Thank you so much for the very kind words about my El Cap image. Yosemite is just magic, that was my first time there. I plan on going back this fall for the colors.

Joe, fantastic job on the Vegas Golf Photos. Some classic shots, made even better with the captions. Thanks for taking a day out of your vacation to photograph a bunch of idiots attempting to play golf during a Las Vegas Wind Advisory.

Hi Dale, glad you liked the astro images. Get the timer remote from Canon for tripping the shutter and doing long exposures in series. Joe

Unbelievable gallery Joe, congratulations! I'm contemplating a D60 for my LX200GPS(which has yet to see first light...four kids will do that!) How do you remotely trip the shutter on the D60?

Clear Skies!

Joe,

Great photos. David O turned me on to your site. These look like they were taken by a professional with a 5+MP camera. Maybe you missed your calling.

Take care,

Pete

Your D60 astrophoto gallery pictures are inspiring.
I'm purchasing the D60 myself, to do astrophotography and take nice still photos of my family and events.
I sold my Olympus C-2100 and SBIG Pixcel 255 in order to buy the D60.
After seeing shots like yours, and others from various web sites, it makes you wonder why
anyone would want to buy a fixed CCD imaging solution?
Thanks for sharing!
Richard

Hi Joe

Wow, I´m sitting here in Denmark, the clock is 3.15 in the morning,
my wife are sleeping, so I had to make a bookmark to you gallery,
because she had to see your pictures. The pictures from Grand Canyon
are so great that I had never seen anything like that.
Was some of the pictures taken from a Helicopter?
What about your moonpictures, are the camera mounted on a telescope?
Regards
Klaus
