Hi Folks,
I am happy to participate on pBase with you. I am a photographer hobbyist aspiring to capture light better versus getting wrapped up in the digital darkroom editing. I am a computer guy, but still, I believe strongly in that old school knack of discipline to first take better pictures, and then seek to enhance what the tool failed to capture. At the moment I take pictures of wonderful things, not wonderful pictures of things. I hope to get better and I really appreciate the photographers who share, teach, and inspire on this site. In time I'll discipline myself to pay attention to the light and learn how to use this camera better ...
I mused the other day that the difference between a good photographer and a bad photographer is that a good photographer knows what makes a bad picture!
