After nearly 5 months of training and drills the medics of my company are finally get it right. Again you should know that Emergency Medicine was never really heard of here. The concept of battlefield medics was never practiced to any uniform standard. And due to the influence of Russian military leadership, only officers were allowed to practice their skills. When I first came to this medical company, patients would walk in the door, and walk right up to the Physician and begin to tell of their problems. He would write a prescription without an exam, or even medical records while the medics were made to take out trash, pull guard duty, anything but work as a medic and prcatice their skills or be allowed to take any pride in thier new knowledge and abilities. That problem is now corrected and most all of the medics in this company have a new sense of self worth and pride.
