Thank you very much for sharing your view of Afghanistan. This incredibly beautifull, breathtaking but also dangerous and unforgiving country in wich we and many more have to work.
Your pictures take me back to Afghanistan and give a very personal and touching view.

I've been flying domestic flights in Afghanistan with the white Fokker-50 (you know it?) in 2006 for the Norwegian Army from Kabul to Mazar and other places, and I've posted many of my own pictures here on pbase as well. Feel free to look around!

Best regards,

Christiaan van Heijst (one of the Dutch Fokkers)

Thank you for helping us to better understand the work that is going on in Afghanistan. Your pictures are great and will be a lasting memory of what you did there. Most of the people in the West do not understand nor appreciate the cultural aspects of that part of the world. You have helped us in this respect.
May God bless and keep you.

Dear Sir,your photos of the Afghani landscape are very dark & foreboding but the ones of the children are quite delightful. You are obviously performing very valuable medical relief work.A friend from Canada
