Dear friends: Here I am venturing upon a new gallery involving the nature's wonderful creations-the Animals. Los Angeles Zoo is built on a vast hilly and scenic piece of land, on which the facilities for the animal occupants are almost near perfection, as regards providing appropriate and suitable habitats with plenty of space to move around. It is managed very well by a highly qualified, educated, experienced and dedicated staff, which is also assisted by a volunteer force. The Zoo will probably never be completed because, the management is constantly on the go for further improvements of facilities both for the animals as well as the visitors.

I have been, for a number of years, a visitor to this wonderland. I have noted that some animals are too shy and reclusive to come out to the public while others are not. Some of them seem to need more sleep than humans do. The mighty lion sleeps for 20 hours a day. I can probably say the same thing for the tiger, bear and Koala, to name a few. The friendlist and very visible may be the Red Flamingos, Meerkats and the Chimpanzee. Animals don't seem to like the hot summer weather.
