Gallery: LUCKNOW (INDIA): NOSTALGIC EXPRESS!

Hello friends: Some of you may have viewed my first gallery, titled, "Elegant Lucknow(India): Sights and Soul. Gallery # 1," on BARA(LARGE)IMAMBARA in that splendid city of LUCKNOW in Northern India. This gallery # 2 depicts a few more of those old, 18th century built, magnificent historical monuments the city treasures to this day. I have photographed these over a number of years and so duplication is bound to occur but the images will be quite different. Hope you enjoy. JARIS

Lucknow hum par fida aur hum fida-e-lucknow ==> from a guy born in Lucknow

the tehzeeb and culture is changing drastically as new generation tries to leave the past behind with the increasing immigration we are loosing it I urge the people to respect the culture and be polite thats what lucknow is Pehle aap

Very interesting gallery with good images. Some "paradise" for the Indians. Building look somewhat different from mine in New Hampshire ;-)
