Hello friends: An architectural marvel, EIFFEL TOWER is PARIS and PARIS is EIFFEL TOWER. Both are inseparable from each other. It is, by far, one of the most recognizable structure in the world, and is the tallest in Paris. It was created by the genius of Gustave Eiffel, its architect and structural engineer, and was consructed from 1887 to 1889 for an entrance to the World Fair. It was opened on May 6 and inaugurated on May 31, 1889. Curiously, initially, it did not receive a public acceptance and admiration it deserved.

Famed Inventor Thomas Edition came to see it in 1989. Two James Bond films depict scenes from the Eiffel Tower. These are: "Thunderball" and "A view to a kill."
