Nice photo of the aqueduct at Nanzenji. I found the nearby Nanzen-In somewhat disappointing - at least it was, compared with Tenjuan-An. Comment from an ex-Pbase-er. :)

such gorgeous colors. the capture of the rose adds a very complementary green and red to the browns and golds. I can't stop looking at it.
I have found that much of what I like in a photo has to do with the subject matter. I really like this one. I enjoy the light and playing on the bricks as well as the shadows which are not to dark as to loose the detail.
