Yachting Season in NZ - 2011-2012

The waters surrounding Auckland are a sailing paradise with a very large area of islands and beaches.
Auckland city covers some 50 miles along the coast. That is why Auckland is often called City of Sails.
Murrays Bay beach, where I live, is a safe swimming beach for the family, and there is also a boat club for junior sailers in the Bay as well.
Murrays Bay Sailing Club is a very well known club with good results in yachting competitions, both in New Zealand and overseas.
