When we were visiting my son and his wife this past summer in DC we drove past this large building.
I had no idea what it was but thought it was very unusual looking so I took a shot of it through the cab window.
I learned today that this is the newest museum in the city.

From a cab window?! Great shot. I think it's interesting that they chose a dark color for the exterior, when all of the surrounding buildings are light.

I like your detail view of the new museum. I thought that is colored a brownish based upon the magazines version. It is a good shot taken from your place at the time.

Excellent capture of this very striking new museum, to whose opening on Sept. 24 tickets are impossible to get, although you can now reserve some for November and December. I guess we'll just have to wait until the crowds die down there. V.
