I like the wit here too. I never had a red-tailed hawk drop on me, but I did accidentally place my hand in a very big bird dropping once on an old telephone service post!

Nice close up this beautiful bird. We have about 5 in the woods behind us.Be careful not to get too close. The talons are very sharp V

oddly enough I was buzzed by a similar hawk just yesterday, and it subsequently settled atop a nearby wire fence. As I shuffled a bit closer though, it took off, apparently in a huff..fine capture of this fearsome predator..
