My name is Jane Brennecker and I'm a children's portrait photographer from Long Buckby, near Daventry, Northamptonshire.
I hold photography sessions in Long Buckby during school hours and occasionally on Saturday afternoons or in the school holidays.

Home Sessions
Home sessions are usually based around a sofa or armchair because this provides a comfortable, contained setting where I can control the lighting.
Also it can give a simple, distraction free background without having to use an artifical backdrop.
These sessions are available at your house in Long Buckby, during school hours or on some Saturday afternoons.

Present Idea
I have one of these in my house, because I seem to have quite a lot of photos of my family.
It's intended to display children's A4 sized art work, but I have a stack of nearly 50 photos inside, and I move the top picture to the bottom of the pile every few days. The photographs are printed on 12"x8" paper, with a thick white border, as the aperture in the front of the frame is around 17cm x 26cm (approx. 7" x 10").
The frame can stand on a shelf or hang either horizontally or vertically.

Diamond Wedding
I really enjoyed photographing a 60th anniversary party at Long Buckby Community Centre on Saturday.
It was a lovely, happy event and a real celebration.
The gallery is password protected (Hint for friends and family - the password is the first word of the Cambridgeshire village where the wedding reception took place (all lowercase)).

Photographs for Christmas presents
Sorry if this is ridiculously early, but if you're thinking of booking a session to get photographs as Christmas presents, then it really needs to be by early November at the absolute latest.
If your child / children is not at school full time, then we can arrange a session during school hours on most week days.
For older children, I'm planning some "studio" sessions on Saturday 8th October and Saturday 5th November. Standard 30 minute sessions start at £45 (including prints) and 15 minute mini sessions are from £25.

Buckby Feast
I was asked to photograph people with the Feast's celebrity guest, Arthur Bostrom (from 'Allo 'Allo).

52 Photos Project
I'm using this as an excuse to mess around and have some fun with photography, so not all the pictures should be taken entirely seriously.

Digital Downloads
I've added the option of directly downloading jpg files from your portrait session.
Your password protected gallery on my website now has a "buy" button which will allow you to order the individual photographs as jpgs, for £8 each.
Once you've placed your order, I will upload a higher resolution, non-watermarked version of the photograph and you'll be e.mailed to let you know that the picture is ready for you to download.
You'll have my permission to make as many copies and prints as you like and you can also post the photos on the internet (e.g. facebook).
If anyone's had a session within the last year and would like me to put the pictures back on my site, so that they can buy downloads, just let me know.

Infant School Photos
I have photos showing some of the children at Sports Day, May Day and the Christmas Play. I was at these events as a parent, and was concentrating on supporting my own child, but took pictures of some other children too. Mrs Dugdale has agreed that I can sell copies to parents, to raise money for school funds.
Please e.mail J.Brennecker@sky.com if you'd like me to check whether I have any photos showing your child. If so, you can buy prints for £1 each or a CD of any that include your own child for £4 (it should work with Windows 7 or XP).
All profits will be donated to the Infant School.
If you buy a CD you are welcome to make copies or prints, but please respect other families' privacy by not posting on the internet (e.g. facebook) if the pictures include other children.

Something completely different
As a change from photographing toddlers, I've taken some pictures of Anna for her Angel Feet Reflexology website -

She was very well behaved, didn't throw any tantrums and didn't try to run away once.

Photography Sessions on 14th May
I'm planning some sessions for the afternoon of Saturday 14th May at Long Buckby Baptist Church.
These will be on a white background and will cost £45 for 30 minutes, or £25 for 15 minutes - prices include a set of 7"x5" prints (i.e. 10-15 different prints for a standard 30 minute session).
You can also choose a CD of jpg files for £100 for a standard session.
You are welcome to bring your own toys and anything else that you would like included in the photographs.
