A Visit to the Immigration Bureau

Cosmos Square, Osaka-fu, Japan

I went to the Osaka Regional Immigration Bureau to get a multiple re-entry permit. I now can come in an out of Japan as many times as I need over the next three years.

You'll will note that the sign is in three languages Japanese (top and only Kanji characters so probably reads the same for Chinese), English (middle) and Korean (bottom). It seemed that most of the other people visiting the immigration office that day where from Korea or China, and I was one of three people there who were from elsewhere.

Hello James... I went to the immigration office before.
When I was in Sendai, needed a VISA extension. So they gave me an extra month.
All they require was an essay for why did I needed to be an extra month.
Very good people at this office. No complains at all.

At that time.. Most people I saw where Chinese. Laws seem to be pretty difficult on them to get Japan Visas..

By the way... Chinese VISAS for foreigners became very strict with the Olympics.
Which haves me nervous, I'll be in China in 3 weeks from now.. You know.. Taking photos again like the good old days ^_^

Regards.
