Hiei-zan

Hiei-zan is a mountain, where you can find Enryaku-ji (a temple complex which is headquarters of the Tendai sect of Buddhism) spread out amongst the ancient cedar forest.

As a bit of a challenge I decided to exclusively use the 50mm f1.8 lens at Hiei-zan.

Nice pictures james, I especially like the view of Otsu and forest Buddha.
I have just ordered the Nikon 50mm lens so I'm hoping my pictures will be a good as yours.
