The pictures and pots in this gallery were shown in James' exhibition in The Tunnel Gallery Tonbridge between 25th April and 13th May 2006. All of the pictures have the name of another artist as part of the title. These paintings are, in part, tributes to those artists. They inspired to some extent the particular approach taken. As an example 'Fighting Fieldfares - Uccello' depicts a battle in an orchard, just as in Uccello's 'Rout of San Romano' in the National Gallery, London.
