Rice paddy. Unfortunately pesticides are indiscriminate and kill not only the insects that damage the rice plants but also the animals that can help to protect them. While spiders are also indiscriminate in what is caught in their web, what was observed was that most of the time the insects caught were the pests drawn to rice plants that damage the crops.
