Nepung monastary is the only monstary with the deities performing ritual killings and other angry acts. All of the deities show angry faces and are there to ward off evil and to protect the Tibetan people.

I was given permission to document these images. They are on the inside of the walls that form the courtyard of the monastary. Normally they do not allow photographs.
