Upon examining the one woman's eyes I could not help, I could see that she had early cataracts. She had very close vision, myopia, but had poor far vision and at some point, will need cataract surgery, which isn't available on the island.

The woman on the far right had reading glasses but the nose pieces were gone and the metal that had held them dug into her nose and the glasses weren't the right magnification.
