Before the time of own children, the term Lice made me think about things like Charles Dickens, medieval, gutters and poverty. When I was a kid back in the 1970s, I cannot recall a single event of lice infection and I must admit that I passed this phenomenon back to the history book together with other past awful things like smallpox and plague.

However, it seems like nature strikes back and punishes mankind for believing that chemotherapy is the solution to everything. Well, let’s see it as a form of terrorism, but in a small scale. You don’t like it, but it has added up as one of these things you need to live with as they come and go. These small bastards are some 1-2 mm in length, and yes - they are disgusting indeed, but I couldn't resist trying a couple of shots before frying them...
