Although water cranes are obsolete nowadays, this one is even more obsolete as the former large yard at Dalby since long is passed to the history books. The crane is standing in the middle of the former yard at Dalby station.
However, this one was probably used more or less regularly until around 1970 as the Malmö-Tomelilla was one of the last lines to have regular steam freights on the SJ network
