The heart will out?

When all is in shades of grey..
and the colors a bit hard to make out..
tho,
you know...
yes..
you know..
the heart bleeds red...
against the shades of grey..

Even at times..
when you feel the knife at your back...
Shall the heart..
continue to rise..
among the pearls..
of friendship..
of hope..
of faith..
of the wish of a better tommorrow..
(ahh that dear wish)
