I remember having always heard the song of this bird since I was child. Most often, by the river in my hometown.

The song has something that I have always found bewitching, yet I had never been able to see the birds clearly, just fading shadows.

Up until very recently, when I met 2 of these guys behaving so tamely, singing so close to me, refusing to hide.

I felt like they were asking to be photographed. I felt amazed all the time. It felt so special.
