0. Favorites:
These are my TOP choices. They are the best on the basis of clarity, composition, expression and overall brilliance in image presence. They have received all the treatments I could image a file needing from cropping and color correction to burning, dodging and possibly sharpening.
1. PICKS: These images are all the best of the shoot and just not as remarkable as a Favorite - They are the best on the basis of clarity, composition, expression and overall brilliance in image presence. Only Color Correction and Cropping has been done. There is a fair bit more that can be done to these images to make them more outstanding.
2. Seconds & Outtakes: These images are not as good as PICKS; they may lack clarity, the expression may not be "spot on" or other elements in the image may have demoted the file. I feel they are worth keeping and may have some specific use for a deep review of one specific look....that is top say, if you like a PICK or FAVORITE image but there is only 1 or 2 in that group, if you look at the SECONDS, you may find a few more acceptable images to review in that group. OVERALL, every single Second, should have a BETTER VERSION located in the PICKS. **Straight from the RAW files....if you see one in here you want processed, simply drag the link into an email to me and I can improve is dramatically in most cases.
OUTTAKES: If there are any in your shoot, this is their classification and they will be present along with Seconds: These images are not keepers and should not be used publicly, but they may have some relevance to the subject of the image for sentimental reasons, humor, or personal friends and family images.....In general, these are "documentation" shots and represent the idea of, "I was here" and "this is what happened that's about it.
