This is James Oscar Bland, probably about the time he married (1898). He was born in Duplin County, North Carolina in 1876 and came to Jacksonville as a young teenager following his older brothers Ed, Lafayette and Dan, and sister Cornelia. He married Lula Clements and lived near Mt. Carmel Church.
