Bingo (Originally Beano) Was Discovered At Jacksonville, Ga. in 1929

Edwin S. Lowe, New York toy salesman, happened through Jacksonville, perhaps to visit Lowe kinfolks who lived there, and attended a country carnival where people were moving beans and corn around on a numbered card. He carried the idea back to New York and the rest is history!
