Hello and my name is: Sharron Wilcox-O’Connor
I’m sending you this message to see if you are related to me in any kind of way. I was born a Wilcox, here in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is my family history: My Great-Great-Grandfather name is: Ned Wilcox from Cobbville, Telfair County, Georgia and also lived in Jacksonville and Lumber City, Georgia. Ned Mother name is: Hannah Tamberlin, which she was married to Bill Tamberlin. Ned was raised by his Mother/Hannah and Step-father/Bill. Ned Wilcox married Sarah, whom they had, many children: Walter, Harrington, Joseph, Creasy, Roy, Daniel, William, Woodson, Tommie, Charles, Roda and Hariton. Creasy was married to a Hill, which she had, 4 children: Gladys, Layman, Bessie and Sarah Hill.

From Ned & Sarah union comes my Great-Grandfather Woodson, which people called him "Woot". Woot was married to Katie and to this union were two sons: Harrington and James Willie Wilcox. Woot moved to Levy County Florida, which is Williston and Raleigh, Florida. Harrington was married in 1931 to my Grandmother/Edna Mae Williams in Williston, Florida and to this union my Mother/Helen was born, which she was the only child to this union. My grand-parents were divorce and my Grandfather/Harrington moved to the West Coast to Cape Coral where he married a Ms. Theordia Bryant in Glades County, Florida. Children to this union I don’t know, is so, my Mother has sister’s and brother’s we don’t know about.

By the names listed above are you related to me? I would love to have a Wilcox Family reunion very soon. God bless!!!
