Nat Statham And Wiley Ellison Save Mark Willcox (1818)

Young Mark Willcox is shot by the Indians at the Battle of Breakfast Branch. He and Nat Statham were enemies because they loved the same girl, Jane Parramore. But, in a courageous and noble act, Nat Statham rescued Mark Willcox and carried him some five miles on his back to the Ocmulgee River - and safety. The two were very close after that.

I just found your web site this morning. It is great. I was interested in the
information on Nat Statham (Thompson Nathaniel Statham) he is my GGGGrandfather.
I live in Macon, Georgia is there a place in Macon that I can find some of your articles?
