Many Thanks to Montine for this fine picture of Rue School. Rue School was located about a mile west of Blockhouse Church on Highway 117 on the left, just past the old Henry Fussell place (now gone also) -- to the right in front of the site is a now-paved county road that goes toward the homes of Vaunita Fussell Waldon and Preston Fussell. PS - The school is not made of brick - it just looks that way - they used some exterior covering with a "brick" design!
