Many Thanks to Montine for this fine picture of Rue School. Rue School was located about a mile west of Blockhouse Church on Highway 117 on the left, just past the old Henry Fussell place (now gone also) -- to the right in front of the site is a now-paved county road that goes toward the homes of Vaunita Fussell Waldon and Preston Fussell. PS - The school is not made of brick - it just looks that way - they used some exterior covering with a "brick" design!

I would like to know the year of this photograph? Was the old "Henry Fussell" Place that of Henry Jackson Fussell? Henry Jackson Fussell III , I would like to share our geneology with you as I am a great grandson of Henry Jackson Fussell of Hazelhurst GA. I have pictures and traced our linage back to 1708.
Thanks

trying to find more information on Ulma and Eula Wells Bass. My daddy was Cyrus Bass,
their oldest son. His first wife was Ruby Garrison who is named in this picture. Does
any one have information about the Bass Family and where they came from. Ulma and Eula's
children were Cyrus, Horace, Lamar, J.W., Wayne & Margie. My name is Dorothy Bass Heath.

Estelle and Alice Woodall were the older half sisters to my father in law John Henry Woodall, Sr. They were suppose to have at least 2 othre brothers Sam and Bill Woodall.
John Henry Woodall Sr. married Annie Ruth Cravey, daughter of Thomas Jefferson Cravey and Katie Fussell
