Mr. Emmet Dopson of Jacksonville, Ga., raises his hand to emphasize a point in favor of the "plain old razor-back variety hog" which he considered superior to other breeds. He thought the speed of the hog was important and Rev. Bascom Anthony, early 1880's Methodist preacher at Jacksonville, Ga., was there to hear his discourse. Later, in his book about his ministry, he related the Dopson-hog story. [See article.]
